Jacksonville – The James Weldon Johnson Young Writers Festival (JWJYWF) welcomes all students in grades 3-12 including those who are home-schooled or tutored, to perform a poem or monologue. They will be performing June 10th - 13th while attending workshops and activities that include: creative writing, career speakers, book cover design, poetry music, poetry dance and field experience from June 10-13, 2026, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to qualify for scholarships and award prizes.
