PGA Tour Championship charity event takes place in Jacksonville all week

It’s time to break out the golf clubs and party shoes, because the The Constellation Furyk & Friends is returning for a second year at the Timuquana Country Club, and it’s one of the best parties of the year.

The event will feature a 78-player field competing for a $2 million purse. The event will feature Pro-Ams on Monday, Oct. 3, Wednesday, Oct. 5, and Thursday, Oct. 6, followed by three rounds of tournament play Oct. 7-9.

At last year’s event, $1.7 million for local charities was raised, and organizers hope to break last year’s record.

If you attend the event you can expect delicious food from incredible local chefs, delicious drinks and more fun than you can imagine.

One of the highlights of the tournament is the Circle K Party Porch. On a Par 3 on the course, attendees will get the opportunity to buy $2 beers for 7 minutes if a golfer birdies the hole. It’s a little bit of pressure on the golfer, but it makes for an exciting hole to watch.

Just left of the 17th hole will be Tailgate Village, a spot where spectators can stop by for food, drinks and catch up on all the football games that are going on.

Plus, all three rounds of the Constellation Furyk & Friends presented by Circle K will be broadcast live on Golf Channel.
