1. (1) Episcopal (6-0, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Harrison (Ga.), Oak Hall, St. Edward’s, Tocoi Creek, Vero Beach.

Glance: The Eagles are on the warpath. Great week for the Eagles. They crushed three solid teams (Tocoi Creek, 19-6; Oak Hall, 13-4; Vero Beach, 15-3). Oak Hall and Vero Beach are state contenders annually, albeit, out to difficult starts. But those are massive wins. They added a romp over the previous No. 5 Toros. Three big showdowns follows this week: Ponte Vedra, Plant and Newsome.

2. (2) Ponte Vedra (5-1, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bolles, Fletcher, Harrison (Ga.), Vero Beach.

Glance: The Sharks crushed Lake Brantley (25-1) and Vero Beach (16-6) since our last Super 6. They visit No. 1 Episcopal on Tuesday in a heavyweight clash.

3. (3) Bartram Trail (5-2, Class 2A)

Notable win: Gulf Breeze, Nease, Oak Hall, St. Augustine.

Glance: The Bears are 3-1 in the last week and a half, including romps over St. Augustine (14-0) and Nease (13-1). They added a high quality 5-2 win over Gulf Breeze. They loss was to a very strong Pensacola Catholic. They’ve got a clash against powerhouse Lake Highland Prep on Tuesday that will be a tough climb.

4. (4) Bolles (6-2, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Buchholz, Gulf Breeze, Nease, Tocoi Creek

Glance: Three wins since our last Super 6, all easy ones. Bolles topped Creekside (11-6), Buchholz (16-2) and Maclay (21-2). They’ve got Providence, South Walton and Navarre up this week before a break for spring.

5. (5) Tocoi Creek (5-2, Class 2A)

Notable wins: St. Augustine, South Walton.

Glance: Good week for the Toros. After they lost to No. 1 Episcopal, Tocoi Creek hammered St. Augustine (14-3) and then edged previously unbeaten South Walton (13-12). Up next are Nease and Oak Hall this week.

6. (6) Nease (3-3, Class 2A)

Notable wins: None.

Glance: The Panthers hang on here, despite losses to Bolles, Bartram Trail and South Walton. Considered Fleming Island here, but the Golden Eagles’ strength of schedule has been bad (all seven of their wins against teams with one or no victories). That leaves Nease in for another week.

On the bubble

Fleming Island (7-1, Class 1A); Fletcher (3-1, Class 2A); Mandarin (4-1, Class 2A); St. Augustine (3-4, Class 1A).
