JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX girls lacrosse Super 6 will be published Monday through the end of the regular season with the exception of Spring break. Records are through March 8.

1. (1) Episcopal (8-0, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Harrison (Ga.), Newsome, Oak Hall, Ponte Vedra, St. Edward’s, Tocoi Creek, Vero Beach.
Glance: The Eagles won their two matches since our last Super 6, including a headliner, 12-7 over No. 2 Ponte Vedra. They also beat a quality Newsome team, 16-4. They’re off until March 17 against Lake Highland Prep.
2. (2) Ponte Vedra (6-2, Class 2A)
Notable wins: Bolles, Cambridge (Ga.), Fletcher, Harrison (Ga.), Vero Beach.
Glance: The Sharks went 1-1 since our last Super 6, a 12-7 loss to No. 1 Ponte Vedra and a 10-6 win over a quality Cambridge. They host Bartram Trail on Wednesday in a collision of St. Johns County’s best programs.
3. (3) Bartram Trail (5-3, Class 2A)
Notable win: Gulf Breeze, Nease, Oak Hall, St. Augustine.
Glance: The Bears lost a blowout to Lake Highland Prep (15-2) since our last Super 6. Their three Ls are to high quality programs (Plantation American Heritage, Pensacola Catholic, LHP), so no reason for concern here. They’ve got Tocoi Creek on Tuesday and Ponte Vedra on Wednesday.
4. (4) Bolles (7-3, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Buchholz, Gulf Breeze, Nease, South Walton, Tocoi Creek
Glance: The Bulldogs beat a quality South Walton (13-11) and lost to 8-1 Navarre in a 15-14 thriller. They’re off until March 20 against Episcopal.
5. (5) Tocoi Creek (7-2, Class 2A)
Notable wins: Nease, St. Augustine, South Walton.
Glance: Solid week for the Toros. They beat Nease (16-4) and Oak Hall (11-8) since our last Super 6. They’ve got No. 3 Bartram Trail on Tuesday and Wolfson on Thursday before Spring Break. Ashley Cotter has scored 52 goals for the Toros.
6. (NR) Fleming Island (8-1, Class 1A)
Notable wins: None.
Glance: The Golden Eagles don’t have much meat on the bone in terms of quality wins, but they get the nod this week over Nease for me. Meredith Giebeig and Brylee Thomas have 63 combined goals for Fleming Island.
