JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Walk Off Charities celebrated an incredible milestone - surpassing 10,000 kids who have taken part in its free baseball camps.
“I believe every kid should play little league baseball,” Walk Off Charities founder Frank Frangie said.
“Seeing a little 8 year old who doesn’t know if he’s right handed or left handed get a chance to put this beautiful glove on and have these great coaches coach them, it’s overwhelming,” Frangie continued. “I’m really blessed and excited.”
Since launching in 2017, Walk Off Charities has helped kids learn and play baseball while creating unforgettable experiences. Once a month during the school year, 200 third graders from across Jacksonville take part in the camps with help from high school coaches and local college baseball teams volunteering their time.
