JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl will be played one day before New Year’s Eve this year at EverBank Stadium.
ESPN and the Gator Bowl made the announcement on Wednesday, slotting the 82nd annual game for Dec. 30 at 11:30 a.m. Capacity at the stadium will be reduced for the game due to construction. That shouldn’t be an issue for the game, barring a significant matchup. The last two games have drawn just over 31,000 fans.
