JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The playoffs are on deck for the Jacksonville Sharks.
The four-time arena football champions will open their Indoor Football League postseason quest at home on Saturday at 7 p.m. against the Tulsa Oilers at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. Jacksonville (11-5) split its season series against Tulsa, winning 41-34 at home and losing on the road (58-49).

Six players with area ties are on Jacksonville’s roster this year.
WR/DB Marquel Wade (Jackson), RB Jimmie Robinson Jr. (Flagler Palm Coast), QB Sammy Edwards (St. Augustine), WR Jaedon Stoshak (University Christian), QB Matt Considine (St. Joseph) and WR Anthony Evelyn (Fletcher) are on the roster. Considine and Evelyn are on injured reserve. Stoshak and Wade have combined for 28 TD catches. Edwards has thrown 24 TD passes Robinson has paced the running game with 24 TD
The Sharks began play in 2010 as a member of the Arena Football League. They won their first AFL championship in 2011. Jacksonville jumped from the AFL to the National Arena League in 2017 and won the championship in its first season. They added titles in 2019 and 2023 before joining the IFL in 2024.
