Notebook
- Arik Armstead had a veterans day off.
- Chris Rodriguez had a planned day off.
- Defense won the day. Hands down. Rough day for the offense!
- CJ Williams had the play of the day. He made a diving catch in the end zone and dragged the toes. Another day and another great play from Williams. I’m sure I have said it before, but I’ll say it again: I think the Jags have two good rookie receivers.
- BJ Green had some nice wins in 1-on-1s. He beat Walker Little with a lethal spin move. Green has gotten a ton of reps and has made some big plays. He had a sack on Trevor Lawrence and made a big run stop. Green is looking more and more like he is Edge 3.
- Jonah Monheim looked good in the 1-on-1s. He held his own against Matt Dickerson and Travon Walker.
- Ruke Orhorhoro has looked like a real force on the D line. He has been consistently applying pressure day in and day out.
- There is always a UDFA that seems to come out of nowhere. Could this year’s guy be T.J. Bollers? TJ has maximized his reps and shown a knack for getting after the QB. Might be a guy to keep a close eye on.
