Questions at LB, RB: Jaguars reveal first depth chart of the season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars first preseason depth chart is out and the guessing games are on as the team heads towards its opener against the Saints.

The two starting spots in question – the popular ‘or’ on the chart – came at running back and at linebacker. Ventrell Miller or Branson Combs are listed like that at linebacker and Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. are an or at running back.

Anton Harrison is listed as the starter at left tackle, continuing what has become a daily sight during training camp. Second-year player Travis Hunter is listed as the starter at cornerback and listed behind Brian Thomas Jr. at receiver.

The highest slotted rookies are tight end Nate Boerkircher, receivers Josh Cameron and CJ Williams and nose tackle Albert Regis.

Offensive line remains the position group with the most fluidity. Patrick Mekari is listed as the starter at right guard despite not taking part in any of the team drills. Walker Little is the starter at right tackle although he’s been battling an injury. Tackle Cole Van Lanen Is still on the PUP list after offseason knee surgery, The line will stabilize when Van Lanen returns.
