| Trevor Lawrence | Trevor Lawrence |
| Nick Mullens | Nick Mullens |
Jamal’s thoughts: Slight tweak here for me from my original 53. Nick Mullens has the backup QB job locked up.
Justin’s thoughts: No surprises here. Mullens had his trouble spots in camp, but still presents a better insurance policy than Joey Aguilar or Carter Bradley.

| LeQuint Allen Jr. | LeQuint Allen Jr. |
| Chris Rodriguez Jr. | Chris Rodriguez Jr. |
| Bhayshul Tuten | Bhayshul Tuten |
Jamal’s thoughts: Three guys are locks and Abdullah is nearly lock territory. He has had a good camp and is in the conversation to be the Jags kick returner. That special teams value gets him on the 53.
Justin’s thoughts: This is a change for me. Originally had Deejay Dallas on here, but I’ve subbed him out for Abdullah. He’s had a good camp and offers upside as a backup return man.

| Nate Boerkircher (R) | Nate Boerkircher (R) |
| Tanner Koziol (R) | Tanner Koziol (R) |
| Quintin Morris | Brenton Strange |
| Brenton Strange | N/A |
Jamal’s thoughts: Tight end is about as cut and dry as it gets.
Justin’s thoughts: I had four originally on the list, but I’ve cut Quintin Morris to get this unit back to three.

| Jakobi Meyers | Jakobi Meyers |
| Brian Thomas Jr. | Brian Thomas Jr. |
| Parker Washington | Parker Washington |
| CJ Williams (R) | CJ Williams (R) |
Jamal’s thoughts: Nothing surprising here. The rookie wide receivers had earned there spots both Cameron and Williams look special.
Justin’s thoughts: Cameron and Williams have looked really good in camp. Cameron will probably see more action as a return man than he will catching passes this season.

| Cole Van Lanen (PUP) Chuma Edoga | Cole Van Lanen (PUP) Chuma Edoga |
Jamal’s thoughts: Injuries have really stacked up on the O-line so that makes this a tough position to judge. I still think Van Lanen will end up starting here year on the pup list if he is healthy that would shift the numbers a little bit.
Justin’s thoughts: The health of Van Lanen remains the biggest question for me. He’s missed all of training camp rehabbing from knee surgery. If he starts the season on the PUP list, I could envision a scenario where Chuma Edoga makes the team.

| Arik Armstead, DT | Arik Armstead, DT |

| Danny Striggow, DE | Danny Striggow, DE |
| Travon Walker, DE | Travon Walker, DE |
| N/A | Wesley Williams, (R), DE |
Jamal’s thoughts: In my first 53, I didn’t have Matt Dickerson on the list. That was a big miss on my part.
Justin’s thoughts: This was my biggest area of change since our initial 53. Green has absolutely looked like the backup to Hines-Allen and Walker during camp. He’s taken a significant step forward. Durfee has flashed his potential to get into the backfield, too.

| Branson Combs | Yasir Abdullah |
| Dennis Gardeck | Dennis Gardeck |
| Ventrell Miller | Jalen McLeod |
| Foye Oluokun | Ventrell Miller |
| Jahlani Tavai | Foye Oluokun |
Jamal’s thoughts: Tavi is a new face on the Jags roster but he is an NFL vet and he has flashed enough to in my mind earn a spot on the 53.
Justin’s thoughts: I clipped Jack Kiser from my initial 53. McLeod could be a bubble guy, too, but I think he’s had some flashes in camp.

| Montaric Brown | Montaric Brown |
| Travis Hunter (two-way player) | Travis Hunter (two-way player) |
| Jarrian Jones | Jarrian Jones |
| Jourdan Lewis | Jourdan Lewis |
| Jabbar Muhammad | Jabbar Muhammad |
Jamal’s thoughts: Muhammad has bee the biggest riser on the Jags roster over the course of the offseason program and training camp. Muhammad has earned his stripes for sure and Christian Braswell is back healthy and will be right back in his spot in the mix.
Justin’s thoughts: Muhammad has played himself onto the 53. He’s my only change here.

|---|---|
| Jalen Huskey | Jalen Huskey |
| Antonio Johnson | Antonio Johnson |
| Rayuan Lane III | Rayuan Lane III |
| Eric Murray | Eric Murray |
| Caleb Ransaw | Caleb Ransaw |
Jamal’s thoughts: The safety room isn’t a question of the bodies it is a question of the orders they get on the field.
Justin’s thoughts: Devin Neal Jr. was on my early 53 but he’s out here.
