Bryce Oselen is a Memphis, Tennessee, native who joined WJXT in August 2026.
Before moving to Jacksonville, Bryce worked as a reporter at news stations across the country, including KTVE/KARD in Louisiana, WFRV in Wisconsin and WVTM in Alabama. Throughout his career, he has covered breaking news, severe weather, community issues, and stories that matter most to the people he serves.
In addition to his work as an on-air journalist, Bryce has experience as an instructor, teaching English I and Oral Communications. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University and his master’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists.
Outside of the newsroom, Bryce enjoys giving back to the community, working out, cooking, reading, and taking long walks along the beach. He is excited to call Jacksonville home and looks forward to meeting people throughout Northeast Florida and telling their stories.
