He’s dedicated his nearly 50-year career to helping keep Northeast Florida safe, and for the last 13 years, his focus has been on his home turf  as the elected Sheriff of Nassau County -- which covers the area where he grew up -- Fernandina Beach.

When turning the corner at Beach Boulevard and 3rd Street South, it’s hard to miss the sprawling, yellow-toned building with the beautiful veranda. The building’s exterior may differ from what some would expect for a museum, but the local treasures within are worth a visit.
