Showers and thunderstorms are developing between Highway 301 and I-75 as the Heat Advisory and Extreme Heat Warning continue through 8 p.m.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will build along the Gulf breeze, mainly inland through early evening. The sea breeze, along with isolated showers and thunderstorms, will drift toward I-95 between 7 - 9 p.m. Showers will linger through around 10 p.m.
Locally heavy rainfall, damaging wind gusts and lightning will be the main hazards.
A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday with Advisories and Warnings possible this weekend.
The oppressive heat and humidity along with scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Friday and Saturday with less storm coverage, but still piping hot on Sunday.
In the tropics: Tropical Storm Cristobal is a remnant storm. One of the two areas we are watching is weakening while the other system could become a short-lived storm.

Morning lows in the 70s to low 80s. Afternoon highs in the 90s inland, upper 80s to low 90s along the beaches. Wind: W/SW 5-10 mph.
Weekend: The heat continues with possible heat advisories. Lows in the 70s, highs in the mid to upper 90s inland, upper 80s to 90s along the beaches. Feels Like temperatures 105-110 degrees. Wind: WSW 5 -10 mph.
