BRUNSWICK, Ga. - A young man turned himself in Saturday to police who were investigating the death of 20-year-old man who was fatally shot Friday night after what the victim's grandmother described as a fight over a girl. The Brunswick man was found unresponsive and suffering from at least one gunshot wound on Friday night. The Brunswick Police Department said the shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. on Ellis Street Lane between P and O streets. Garner called his cousin a sweet young man with his life ahead of him, and had a message for the gunman. You need to stop shooting people.
