Chance the Rapper advocates for Chicago teachers
(CNN) - Chance the Rapper donned a red Chicago Teachers Union sweatshirt while hosting "Saturday Night Live" in a show of support to the teachers who have been on strike. Chicago teachers have been on strike since October 17 demanding more support staff, higher raises and limits to class size. Chicago Public Schools is the third biggest school district in the country. Michelle Gunderson, a public school teacher and trustee for the teacher's union, tweeted during SNL that the bargaining team was working but took a break to watch the rapper. Several SNL cast members were seen at the end of the show wearing Chicago Teachers Union T-shirts.

Chance the Rapper postpones tour to raise family
CHICAGO - Chance the Rapper is pushing back his tour until next year. But, before you freak out, he has a really, really good reason: his family. The rapper became a father to another baby girl, Marli, just last week, in a revelation posted on Instagram by his wife Kirsten Bennett. Chance's "The Big Day" tour was scheduled to kick off September 14 in San Francisco, hitting 34 cities. Now, the tour will kick off January 15, though the Chicago show and his festival commitments are still on.
