It's also an adorable day in this neighborhood! Nurses at West Penn Hospital dressed newborns up like Mr. Rogers for "World Kindness Day." They wore little, red cardigans, ties, and khaki pants. A hospital spokesperson said Fred Rogers was an easy choice to honor since he modeled kindness and compassion throughout his life. Rogers began his television career in Pittsburgh.

Tom Hanks will be receiving at very special honor at the 2020 Golden Globes. The acclaimed 63-year-old actor will be getting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the prestigious ceremony, celebrating his contributions to film and television. Named after the legendary director, previous winners of the Cecil B. DeMille Award include Hollywood greats including Jeff Bridges, Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington, George Clooney and more. "The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is proud to bestow the 2020 Cecil B. DeMille Award to Tom Hanks," Lorenzo Soria, HFPA President, said in a statement. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood centers on the acclaimed-yet-jaded journalist Lloyd Vogel (Matthew Rhys), who begrudgingly accepts the job of interviewing Fred Rogers (Hanks), which sets in motion a change in Vogel's life and outlook. (CNN) - Just in time for a Monday, Sony has released the first trailer for the upcoming film about the late Fred Rogers, "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood." In the teaser, schoolchildren sing to Rogers on the subway, and we see Tom Hanks dressed as the children's television host on the set of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood." The film is loosely based on a 1998 Esquire article by Tom Junod, about the effect Rogers' optimistic kindness had on millions of people -- and the initially skeptical journalist himself. "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" aired for 31 seasons before coming to an end in 2001. "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" is slated to release in November.
