Gov. Brian Kemp signed an executive order on Tuesday that, starting at midnight Thursday and throughout the state of emergency, Georgia’s gas tax has been suspended.

There were a lot of questions raised but few answers when the Jacksonville City Council met Wednesday to discuss a proposal to double the city’s gas tax.
