New Jersey and Minnesota sued Glock on Thursday, calling on the gunmaker to stop selling firearms that can be adapted with dime-sized switches to fire up to 1,200 rounds a minute.

A newly unsealed federal complaint says a man accused of having a machine gun at Tuskegee University admitted to firing his weapon during a weekend shooting, but denied shooting at anyone.

An ongoing investigation, dubbed Operation Trigger Switch, nabbed its target -- a nine-time convicted felon from Jacksonville accused of selling guns and drugs, Sheriff T.K. Waters announced Wednesday.

DELTONA, Fla. (AP) - A Florida homeowner says someone stole a 9 mm Glock handgun from his bedroom during a weekend sex party. Todd Smith tells The Daytona Beach News-Journal the homeowner couldn't give detectives the names of possible suspects because the 20 or so people attending the orgy wore masks. Smith says the handgun was apparently on a bedroom nightstand during the party. The homeowner said they party was advertised on social media and guests were encouraged to bring friends and to use fictitious names or no name at all. He said he probably only knew about five of the guests that entered the home that weekend.

A Palm Coast man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison after he pleaded guilty to selling parts that could turn a Glock handgun from a semiautomatic into an automatic firearm. Robert Miguel Castillo, 45, pleaded guilty Aug. 6 and was sentenced to three years and four months in federal prison for possession and transfer of machine guns. According to court documents, Castillo sold 10 Glock auto switches to a co-conspirator, Chad Howard Talbot, who then resold the switches to a convicted felon. Glock auto switches are a firearm accessory designed to convert a Glock handgun from semiautomatic to automatic fire. Talbot previously pleaded guilty for his role in this case.
