Outlook not improving for beleaguered US movie theaters
About three quarters of the country’s movie theaters are open, but Americans are not going back in significant numbers in the COVID-era, even with new films coming into the marketplace weekly. The faith-based “Infidel,” which stars Jim Caviezel, did the best with $1.5 million from just over 1,700 theaters. Both played in under 500 theaters across the country and neither got much more than $200 per location. “The Nest” earned an estimated $62,000 from 301 locations and “The Secrets We Keep” brought in just under $90,000 from 471 theaters. Christopher Nolan's “Tenet” has only earned $36.1 million from North American theaters to date.

Yvonne Strahovski on 'The Handmaid's Tale' and Filming 'Angel of Mine'
The series, which was renewed for a fourth season, typically takes up about half the year, with the actress filming in Canada. Projects that are different enough from The Handmaids Tale that keep my own creative juices flowing, she says. The actress became pregnant with her first child toward the end of filming The Handmaids Tale season two. While most characters have spent the entire series up until now trying to get to Canada, Strahovski hopes that season four will see Serena return to Gilead. Its kind of where she wreaks the most havoc in a lot of ways.RELATED CONTENT:'The Handmaid's Tale': Elisabeth Moss, Cast React to That Harrowing Season 3 Finale (Exclusive)'The Handmaid's Tale': What Elisabeth Moss, Ann Dowd and Others Want to See in Season 4 (Exclusive)
