A South Daytona police officer and a suspect were wounded after a vehicle pursuit ended in a crash and gunfire on Interstate 95 Sunday morning, authorities said, according to a report by our sister station WKMG in Orlando.

TELLURIDE, Colo. – Authorities in southwest Colorado say two newlyweds from Florida died when their single-engine plane crashed shortly after takeoff from the resort town of Telluride. The San Miguel Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that 30-year-old Costas John Sivyllis and 33-year-old Lindsey Vogelaar of Port Orange, Florida, died in Monday’s crash in Ingram Basin, east of Telluride in the San Juan Mountains. A spokesperson shared photos, and a statement from the Vogelaar family that reads:“On October 5, 2020 around 1 p.m. our beloved Lindsey Vogelaar and Costas Sivyllis passed away in a tragic plane crash near Telluride, Colorado just four days after getting married on October 1, 2020. Costas loved Lindsey with every fiber of his being and loved every aspect of Lindsey and her entire life. Costas was the youngest hired airline pilot at United Airlines and Lindsey was a flight attendant at the same airline.
