The RV MegaShow kicks off Thursday at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center near Cecil Commerce Center and runs through Sunday. One local young family is buying into this RV buzz. “We’re just kind of sick of the mundane and we want to be able to get out of the house in a safe way,” said Amanda Creech. Alex and Amanda Creech are always taking extra precautions to keep their growing family safe during the pandemic. AdThe Creech’s aren’t the only ones buying RVs during the pandemic.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – COVID-19 vaccines are going fast in St. Johns County and people who qualify are going to extremes to try and get one. The Moderna vaccine is currently only available for health care workers and people 65 and older, and the Florida Department of Health -- St. Johns County is giving shots throughout the weekend. By dawn, there were hundreds of cars in line outside the St. Johns County Health Department -- backing up about three miles along U.S. 1. Officials say 340 people got the vaccine before the St. Johns County health office closed on Friday and those who got in line that evening said they were determined to get theirs. “Given the scenario that we’re in, it’s probably best if individuals reach out to manage their own care.”St. Johns County will continue vaccinations beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday.
