A sexual assault survivor told her story at Jacksonville’s 25th sexual assault awareness month press conference on Tuesday.

A Clay County-based nonprofit says the area has experienced an “alarming” increase in sexual assault cases, noting that the number of cases reported since July has already surpassed the number of cases in the previous fiscal year’s entirety.
