St. Johns County officials will celebrate the groundbreaking for a $13 million combined fire station and sheriff’s operations center.

Emergency crews were on the scene of a crash with injuries on A1A in Ponte Vedra Beach Thursday evening.

A chase across multiple Florida counties ended in the safe return of a kidnapped mother and her two small children. Michael Anthony McNeal, 36, was arrested in connection to the alleged kidnapping.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - On Friday morning, Acorlia Gillard received his final chemo treatment for bladder cancer. Napoleon Staggers, who originally met Gillard while working his beat in West St. Augustine, surprised the child with a party and a week-long trip to Disney World. It was then that Staggers decided to raise enough money to send Gillard to Disney World. Originally, Staggers wanted to send the child and his family on a weekend trip, but the fundraiser really took off. "It means a lot because he's never really been nowhere out of St. Augustine," Bailey said.
