Read full article: Chilly evening, showers creeping back into our forecastJACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Today was overcast and chilly, with temperatures topping out in the upper 50s and low 60s. Expect cloudy skies this evening with a few light showers wandering through, especially in our southern counties. The showers should fade by 9 p.m.Thursday will be breezy and warm, with decreasing clouds during the day. Sunday’s a tad better, waking up around 40° and breaking into the low 60s under partly cloudy skies. Next week looks MUCH more agreeable, with sunshine and mild temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Saturday will be cold, sunny, and windy. Those temperatures will feel even chillier thanks to westerly winds between 15-20 mph with gusts closer to 30mph. Sunday starts our near freezing with frost and only warms into the chilly upper 50s, but the westerly winds will be lighter, in the 5-10 mph range. Thursday expect lovely low 70s and mostly sunny skies- now there’s something we can look forward too!
