The city of Jacksonville is inviting the community to the 2025 JaxReady Fest happening on April 25 and 26 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, and JaxReady started a sticker program to alert first responders that someone in a residence or vehicle may have autism, Alzheimer’s, dementia, or another cognitive impairment.

At least five people were involved in a crash Monday night on Roosevelt Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. The crash was on Roosevelt Boulevard near the intersection of Huntington Road. JaxReady told drivers in the area to expect delays.

At 5 p.m., police officers were seen in the area of San Marco Square. Demonstrators began arriving at Southside Park at about 6 p.m.For nearly an hour, demonstrators marched down Hendricks Avenue and then onto San Marco Boulevard, where they continued through residential areas. "We’re just taking precautions.”There were no reports of damage during the demonstration.
