President Biden called for state-level action to provide additional relief for people with low-level marijuana convictions. While Georgians and Floridians wait to see how their state's respond to President Biden's call to action, a local doctor thinks sweeping changes of marijuana laws, could be right around the corner.

On Thursday, President Biden pardoned thousands of people convicted of marijuana possession under federal law.

Place bacon in pot; cook 4–5 minutes or until crispy. Remove bacon from pot and drain (reserving 2 tablespoons bacon drippings in pot). Add onions to same pot; cook 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients (except bacon); simmer 30 minutes. Serve stew topped with bacon.
