BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – A 46-year-old man died Wednesday morning when he lost control of his motorcycle at the intersection of Southeast 8th Avenue and Southeast 25th Street in Melrose, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said the man was headed east on 35th around 7 a.m. Wednesday, when, for reasons still under investigation, he didn’t stop at the stop sign.

They said he kept going and lost control in the intersection, ending up on the grass shoulder.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
