No one ever thinks it will happen to their child, yet every year, on average 40 children die here in the United States in hot cars. The majority of child hot car deaths involved a parent who left the child in the car by accident just forgot they were there And by the time they remember- it's often too late because it does not take long for the inside of a car to heat up to dangerous temperatures Julia Della Porta is with Wolfson Children's Hospital and joins us this morning.
