She grew up during the Great Depression in a tiny home without electricity or running water joined the Navy WAVES during World War II, worked in top secret naval research in Washington, D.C. and at 100 years old, published her first book. Now at 101, Betty Digby is being honored at the first Jacksonville WAVES basketball game — and today she joins us alongside her daughter Lynn Baxter for a deeper conversation about family, resilience, service and what she's learned in a century of life.
