Duval County schools tout academic gains and teacher retention ahead of school year

With students returning to classrooms Aug. 10, Duval County Public Schools leaders say they’re entering the new school year focused on maintaining academic momentum, improving school safety and strengthening transportation while working to attract more families back to the district.
