Drier conditions here as Ida strikes fear in the Big Easy. Our weather is getting better.

Dry weather is moving in as Hurricane Ida slams New Orleans. Today we will see warm temperatures near 90 as the humidity eases just a touch. Isolated showers are possible but any storms will be near i-75 this evening.

Mostly sunny skies and lighter SE winds will make for a good day for boating and the beach.

We start the week with a dry spell that fades Wednesday. Temperatures this week will be in the low 90s. Showers will increase Wednesday and Thursday.
