Sunday Hazards: UV index Very High, moderate rip current risk

Tonight: sunset at 7:50 p.m., partly cloudy with lows in the mid-50s.

Monday: breezy conditions return as do warming temperatures closer to 80 in some spots. High clouds won’t block out the partial solar eclipse (64% for NE Florida, slightly more coverage in SE Georgia, closer to 70%), so protective eyewear is essential. Monday evening will be warmer with overnight temperatures staying in the upper-50s, low-60s.

Looking ahead: rain returns to the forecast early morning Thursday with the potential for thunderstorms. Once the storms pass, temperatures will drop again into the below normal range ahead of the weekend.
