There will be some clouds in the Jacksonville area during the solar eclipse. Here’s when and where

So you want to know what Mother Nature has in store for the big Eclipse on Monday? I don’t think you’re going to be disappointed, but there will be some clouds in the area.

First, we are not in the path, but we are near the 60-70% range for the viewing of the eclipse.

The eclipse will take place between 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

For some, it will be challenging to see the eclipse due to cloud coverage across parts of the area during that time, but overall it should only be a small issue. It is expected to be cloudy on the Northside of Jacksonville, as well as in Palm Coast and St. Augustine.

Remember to wear authentic eclipse glasses.

Share your photos of you in your glasses to SNAPJAX so we can show you off on-air!
