A Stormy Start to kickoff the Jags Preseason

Thunderstorms return to the River City as the Jaguars kickoff preseason football Saturday at 7:00 pm. Temperatures are looking to be near the mid 90′s, but those asphalt temperatures will make it feel like the triple digits. So it wouldn’t be a bad idea to save some room in the coolers for some water bottles. The Gulf Coast sea breeze is looking to ignite some storms from noon to kickoff. Strong stormy wind gusts are possible as a result. With the increasing rain chances and threat of sudden storm gusts, a few sandbags and some rope should do the trick to help keep those tailgating tools secured.

Come kickoff, skies will be cloudy. With a 60% chance of showers heading into the evening hours, rain is likely. So, you may want to keep your Jags poncho handy as you head into Everbank.
