Showers end as the Cold Front moves south, Colder Temperatures are Next Jacket weather is on the way

The widespread rain has moved south as light showers slip south of I-10 and dissipate through 10 pm.
Clearing skies on Thursday with a chilly northwest breeze and much colder temperatures on Friday. Freezing temperatures will start the day with highs 10-20 degrees below normal.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with showers ending late tonight.
Thursday: Clearing skies with a chilly northwest breeze. Below normal afternoon highs will give way to freezing overnight temperatures. Wake up temperatures in the upper 30s to 40s for Southeast Georgia, 40s across Northeast Florida. Partly cloudy with highs 40s and 50s for SE GA, 50s to low 60s for NE FL.
Wind: NW 10-15 mph with stronger gusts. Freeze Warnings will be in place for the start of finally Friday.
. (.) Looking ahead : Freezing temperatures early Friday with light freeze to frost possible Saturday. Sunday will be warmer an the trend continues through the start of the week.
