Wednesday is on track for an overall wet day as rounds of rain move through the area. Cloud cover will keep the temperatures in the mid-80s on both Wednesday and Thursday.
We can’t rule out an isolated thunderstorm, but conditions aren’t leaning toward severe weather.
It will be very breezy at the beaches with an onshore easterly wind. Thursday will be more of the same.
Rain Totals
Our biggest threat: Heavy rains could cause localized flooding. By the end of the week, beach communities could see 2-4 inches of rainfall, while inland areas could see up to 2 inches. Increasing rip current risk is also a factor.
The non-tropical system in the Atlantic has a 10% chance of developing, and if so, it won’t be a factor as it moves to the north and east of the coastline. Regardless, the wet pattern continues to move from the south to the north over the next few days.
