The Gulf Coast sea breeze is back and will bring daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms.
The southwest breeze and afternoon storms will be a part of our forecast for the rest of the week. Not every neighborhood will experience rain every day, but rain chances will stay elevated throughout the week. The main hazards include locally heavy rain, possible flooding and strong winds during thunderstorms.
Evening: Showers and thunderstorms will weaken late tonight.
Tuesday: A partly cloudy and warm start, followed by increasing cloudiness with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m., with a 40-60 percent chance.
