The Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 10 a.m. Friday, although coastal areas could see the fog persist through the afternoon.

Areas of visibility less than a mile to areas of less than one quarter of a mile can be expected. The Dense Sea Fog may need additional updates as it will also linger through the afternoon along our coastal waters and beaches.

Cooler, cloudy and breezy on Sunday with a slight chance of showers. Jacket weather will kick off the week with blankets needed for your plants too as freezing and frosty temperatures arrive.

The record high for Friday is 83 degrees, set in 1974 and the record high for Saturday is 82 degrees, set in 1957. Average high this time of year is around 65 degrees.

The Game Day forecast will be breezy and cooler with a slight chance of showers from tailgate to kickoff. Following the cold front, digits will drop Monday and Tuesday mornings with a light freeze and frost possible across inland areas.

Friday: Dense Fog Advisory through 10 a.m. Skies will clear as temperatures climb to near record highs. Morning lows in the 50s and 60s will give way to highs in the 70s and 80s. Wind: SSE 5-10 mph. Patchy to dense fog overnight.

Game Day: A cloudy start with a slight chance of showers and drizzle as the front sinks south. Rain chances will average around 20 percent from tailgate to kickoff. Tailgating temperatures in the 50s with game time temperatures in the 60s. Turning cold overnight with a light freeze and frost possible early next week.
