Wardrobe changes are on the way as we go from near record highs to tumbling temperatures next week.
This evening, cloudy skies with a slight chance of a shower or two, mainly near I-75 and southeast Georgia. These are moving toward the northeast and will fizzle out as they approach I-95. Cloudy skies continue overnight with patchy to areas of dense fog expected through early Saturday.
Cooler and cloudy on Saturday with a few showers possible as the northeasterly flow continues. Near record highs on Sunday under partly cloudy skies through around 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. The record high for Sunday is 83 degrees set in 2023. Clouds will increase late Sunday as rain chances increase starting around 5 p.m. Scattered showers with areas of light rain is expected through around noon on Monday.
Monday morning’s low will be above average. The rest of the week will be unseasonally cold with multiple freezes likely.

Saturday: Cooler and cloudy with a slight chance of showers, 10 - 20 percent. Lows in the 40s and 50s with highs in the 50s for SE GA, 60s and 70s for NE FL. Wind: NE 10-15 mph.
Sunday: Windy and warmer with an increasing chance of showers and isolated storms, 30-50 percent. Lows in the 40s and 50s. Highs in the 70s to low 80s. Wind: SW 10-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph. Rain chances will continue overnight through around noon on Monday.
Next week: Freezing morning low temperatures with below seasonal afternoon highs.
Will there be snow next weekend? This is something to watch as the models are highly split on the forecast for next weekend. The GFS is showing widespread snow possibilities, while the Euro brings little to none of the white stuff to the region. Look for consistency from one model run to the next and keep up with the changes.
