Fire danger will persist through the weekend and another Freeze is coming.
The Red Flag Warning will expire at 6 p.m. A Red Flag Warning was issued for strong and gusty westerly winds and the critically low humidity values.
The dangerously dry conditions will continue through the weekend. A stronger breeze will blow from the northwest Saturday with lighter wind Sunday from the north-northeast. The breeze will bring wind chill temperatures in the 30s on Saturday with freezing temperatures early Sunday morning.
Looking ahead, the dry pattern continues with little to no rain expected next week. Models continue to hint at a slight chance of showers late on Valentine’s Day or Sunday.

Saturday: The northwesterly wind continues with wind chill temperatures in the 30s early Saturday. Morning lows in the 30s and 40s for SE GA, 40s for NE FL and along the beaches. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Wind: NW 10-15 mph. Clear with freezing temperatures overnight.
Sunday: A Freeze Warning will be in effect for inland areas. Not as windy under sunny skies. Morning lows in the 20s, 30s inland, 40s along the sandy shores. Afternoon highs in the 50s and 60s. Wind: NE 5-10 mph. Clear and cool overnight with patchy fog.
