No more Saturday testing at Emmett Reed COVID-19 site, city says

Jacksonville readying new testing sites as COVID-19 hospitalizations rise

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – This Saturday will be the final Saturday of COVID-19 testing at the state-run Emmett Reed testing and vaccination site, the city of Jacksonville announced.

The Duval County Department of Health is making operational changes and will no longer be working on Saturdays after Feb. 5.

The site is open from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Feb. 5, however, it will be the last Saturday DOH will be operational at Emmett Reed.

The Emmett Reed Community Center at 1093 W. 6th St. is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Children ages 5 and older may get their COVID-19 vaccine at any of DOH’s testing sites. Appointments are not required.
