February kicks off with a lot of sales TVs in preparation for the Super Bowl, so you can expect a lot of retailers offering deals this month. For example, you could save thousands of dollars on the 98-inch 4K TV from TCL. It was as low as $1,999.99 at Best Buy. (Orig. Price $4,999.99)
Smartphones
If your Valentine would love a new smartphone, expect some great deals this month.
“Samsung just unveiled its new smartphone, the Galaxy S24 last month. This means older models will start to go on sale and there will be incentives to buy new ones such as trade-in offers,” said Samantha Gordon with Consumer Reports.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is now $699.99 at Samsung. Consumer Reports says the smartphone has some of the best cameras on the market for both still photos and video.
Refrigerator
Keep an eye out for lots of money-saving Presidents Day sales on larger appliances like refrigerators.
The LG French Door Smart Refrigerator is now $1,498 at The Home Depot. (Orig. Price $1,665)
The 30-inch-wide fridge aced Consumer Reports’ tests for thermostat control and temperature uniformity.
Mattresses
Another great gift idea this month is a great night’s sleep.
“We always say never pay full price for a mattress and February is a great month to get one at a discount. Thanks to Presidents’ Day we’ll see savings all month long,” said Gordon.
