GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. – A person was shot Tuesday night in Green Cove Springs, police said.
Overnight, Green Cove Springs Police arrested David Lee Evans.

According to the Green Cove Springs Police Department, the shooting happened about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday on Center Street, just west of North Orange Avenue.
Police said the victim was taken to a hospital and was in serious condition at last check.
There's no word yet on the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police continue to investigate.
