JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries Wednesday morning after a crash at Roosevelt Boulevard and McDuff Avenue, Jacksonville firefighters said.
A spokesperson for JFRD said to expect delays in the area as the crews worked to clean up the scene. Drivers were encouraged to use Cassat Avenue or Park Street as an alternate route.
The crash caused some confusion early Wednesday morning, with initial reports around 6 a.m. of as many as eight vehicles involved and five injured patients. But Jacksonville Fire Rescue later corrected that information to say only two cars were involved and only two people were transported to hospitals. Both had minor injuries.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
