A 37-year-old St. Johns County man is facing two counts of attempted murder after investigators say he shot his girlfriend and her roommate “apparently unprovoked” in their St. Augustine home.

Chase denied the Hills' claim, stating the transfers were authorized, while a detective highlighted the bank's failure to prevent the fraudulent transactions.
