Crash with injuries closes lanes at Philips Highway, Emerson Street intersection

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. â Two people were taken to the hospital after a Thursday evening crash that closed down multiple lanes at the intersection of Philips Highway and Emerson Street, according to Jacksonville Fire Rescue.
As of 7:30 p.m., all northbound lanes on Philips Hwy were closed and all westbound lanes on Emerson St. were closed.
The individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to fire rescue, from the crash involving a Jacksonville Sheriffâs Office cruiser.
Itâs unclear when lanes will reopen.
