Man fatally shot on Jacksonville’s Westside
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot and killed on Jacksonville’s Westside Sunday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
At 2 a.m., officers responded to a shooting on the 9100 block of West Beaver Street near The Roost Country Bar.
They found a man with a gunshot wound and Jacksonville Fire Rescue transported him to the hospital where he died.
Detectives are are investing the circumstances of the incident and its classification is pending.
