JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are set for another exciting homestand at VyStar Ballpark as they host the Nashville Sounds from June 3-7.
The five-game series features a packed lineup of themed nights, giveaways, Pride celebrations, a bobblehead giveaway and opportunities for fans to bring their dogs to the ballpark.
🐶 Wednesday: Dog Day and T-shirt giveaway
June 3 at 7:05 p.m.
The homestand begins with Canines and Crustaceans (Dog Day), allowing fans to bring their canine companions to the game. Dogs receive free admission with the purchase of a human ticket.
Fans should note that dogs are not permitted in the Haskell Suite Level, Harbour Hall, PNC Club or Section 119.
The evening also includes:
- Charity Begins at Home, benefiting Pink Tides of Hope
- A Wear It Home Wednesday giveaway, with the first 500 fans through the Main Gate receiving an “I Got That Dawg in Me” T-shirt presented by Prime Shrimp and Ambetter Health
🌈 Thursday: Pride Night at the ballpark
June 4 at 7:05 p.m.
The Jumbo Shrimp will partner with River City Pride for Pride Night, welcoming members of the LGBTQ+ community, allies, families and local organizations for an evening of celebration and inclusion.
Fans can also take advantage of Coors Light Thirsty Thursday, featuring discounted draft beer specials throughout the ballpark.
🎸 Friday: Hair Band Night
June 5 at 7:05 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to break out their favorite rock-and-roll attire for Hair Band Night.
The game will feature music from iconic hair bands throughout the evening, and fans are invited to dress the part for a night of throwback fun.
Additional Friday promotions include:
- Friday Night Lites Happy Hour with discounted beverages until 7:30 p.m.
- Red Shirt Friday, where fans wearing red receive a discount at the box office while showing support for military members
🎁 Saturday: Jacob Berry bobblehead giveaway
June 6 at 6:35 p.m.
Saturday’s game features one of the most anticipated giveaways of the season.
The first 2,000 fans entering through the Main Gate at the Baptist Health Centerfield Plaza will receive a Jacob Berry bobblehead, commemorating the Jumbo Shrimp star whose walk-off heroics helped deliver the team’s Triple-A National Championship.
The game also features Viva Las Duuuval, a celebration of Jacksonville’s championship run in Las Vegas last season.
Fans hoping to secure a bobblehead are encouraged to arrive early, as giveaways are limited to the first 2,000 attendees entering through the Main Gate.
👨👩👧👦 Sunday: Junior Jumbos, Sonic and family fun
June 7 at 2:05 p.m.
The series wraps up with a family-focused afternoon highlighted by the Junior Jumbos Takeover.
Members of the Junior Jumbos Kids Club will have opportunities to participate in special game-day experiences, including a pregame parade and other on-field activities.
Sunday’s promotions also include:
- Kids Meme Day, celebrating some of the internet’s most recognizable kid-themed memes
- A free Sonic the Hedgehog meet-and-greet
- Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday, featuring catch on the field, face painting and balloon animals
- Kids Run the Bases after the game, presented by Goodwill Industries of North Florida
