JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Four late-teen males were wounded in two related shootings Saturday night on Jacksonville’s Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Officers responded around 11:40 p.m. to Ortega Woods Drive after receiving reports of a person shot. Police found three males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Around the same time, officers received another call from Ortega Park Boulevard, where they found a fourth gunshot victim.
Investigators determined the two scenes were connected. Police have not released the victims’ conditions or said what led to the shootings.
JSO said the victims are cooperating with investigators. At this point, detectives do not believe the victims knew the shooter.
Police have not identified a suspect.
Investigators recovered shell casings at the scene and said they have not received any reports of nearby homes or businesses being struck by gunfire.
