PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – New details describe the chaotic scene on Saturday where a 19-year-old man is accused of fatally shooting his parents, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said.
Incident reports released by the sheriff’s office identified the suspect as Uyleses Servin and the victims as Cecilia, 47, and Miguel Servin, 51. The reports say the violence began during an argument between Uyleses Servin and his father, when he “withdrew a black semi-automatic handgun from his waist and shot at his father.”

The report says Uyleses Servin also shot at his mother as she and his father ran. According to witnesses quoted in the report, they heard the mother tell Uyleses Servin, “Don’t do it,” before he fired a shot that struck her in the head. The report added that Uyleses Servin’s sister and uncle feared for their lives.
Authorities also say a 2-year-old child was involved. The report said Uyleses Servin picked up the child and exited the home; when confronted by law enforcement, he was holding the child while still holding the handgun.
A bullet hole was visible near the front door of the home, neighbors and News4JAX observed.
Neighbors described frequent disturbances at the property and said many people and children were often at the house.
“It would get so rough, I would come in the house because I didn’t want to hear them crying,” neighbor Henrietta Browning said.
Her husband, Gary Browning, said he was not surprised by the violence. Neighbors estimated more than a dozen people lived or stayed there at times, though Putnam County deputies said they could not comment on residency as the matter remains under investigation.
News4JAX went to the home on Monday, and no one was home as detectives continued to examine the property and piece together the events of the shooting.
The sheriff’s office said the case remains under investigation.
